Schneider Electric has bagged the prestigious ‘Delhi MCD Civic Centre’s Contract’ for the supply, installation, testing and commissioning of the Lighting Management Solutions for the 28 storey block of MCD Civic Centre.

MCD Civic Centre is a multi-storied complex comprising of four 6-storied building blocks and one 28-storey tower block. The complex has been equally divided into district zone of institutional and commercial office activity. Equipped with 44 high-speed lifts, the centre will handle parking for around 2,500 vehicles.

Achieving Energy Efficiency in the MCD civic centre through intelligent lighting management systems (LMS) was the key deliverable. The system is based on occupancy, time scheduling & day light harvesting to achieve maximum energy savings. With the right combination of sensors, hardware & software, the system is set to give benefits of energy savings, flexibility & user friendliness.
