In Ecodial Advance Calculation, what do you mean by "phase balancing"?

 

As shown above the network is ‘drawn', and the connected loads are defined as “10Amps single phase loads”…then we can see that “all these single phase loads are connected to L1-N, and which results the 30Amps current at the “L1 of the upstream feeder”. (Note the Ks=1 at the switchboard)

And the upstream feeder – conductors are sized for 30 Amps.


 
Case2 : To draw the above network, all the load circuits are taken in the work sheet & defined as a single phase load with 10 Amps current. Then connecting them one by one to the ‘switchboard’, we can see the “Automatic phase balancing” done by the Ecodial.

In this case all the lines (L1, L2 and L3) are loaded with a 10 Amps load.
And the upstream feeder – conductors are sized for 10 Amps.
