Ask a Question

Does all the ETH ports on the 140 NOC 78*** modules be configured for RSTP.

A linked pair of Ethernet ports, ETH 3 and ETH 4, facilitates I/O exchanges with Modbus TCP server devices and EtherNet/IP adapter modules.
These ports can be used in redundant mode (using RSTP) or with single cable connection (daisy chain). The bandwidth allowed on each port is limited to 30 Mbps.
However the Ethernet ports ETH 1 and ETH 2 do not have QoS tagging or RSTP support. Any device can be connected to these ports.
The bandwidth allowed on ETH 1 is limited to 5 Mbps, and the bandwidth allowed on ETH 2 is limited to 30 Mbps.
