Is there any limitations on number of Read / Write operations when using a PCMCIA memory card extension.
The PCMCIA card for Quantum CPU has different size and kind type. Any PCMCIA card has limitations of number of READ / WRITE operations.
Here I present TSXMFPP002M as a example. The key component in the PCMCIA is a Flash memory.
The feature is 100,000 PROGRAM/ERASE CYCLES per BLOCK (more or less common across the range). It is a average value because the file system shall manage the data & it won't write to the same address. So the 100,000 is quite a large value.
