Ask a Question

How do I send a fault reset over network to clear a fault on the ATV32, ATV61 and ATV71 drives?

Issue:
The ATS32 drive needs to have a fault reset sent over Network via the command word.
Product Line:
ATV31, ATV312, ATV61, ATV71, ATV32, ATV312, ATV12

Environment:
All models and serial numbers.

Cause:
None

Resolution:
DSP402 Drive comm profile : Fault reset is performed when bit 7 of command word 8501 transitions from 0 to 1.  Write decimal 128 to register 400.  If there is an offset then write decimal 128 to register 401.  Once the reset has been performed write a decimal 0 to the register to reset bit 7 to 0 to allow transition when the next reset is performed.

IO profile mode :   Where applicable, fault reset can accomplished by assigning the fault reset function to a bit in the command word: see attached example.
Example in I/O profile assigning fault reset in Menu 1.8 to C301 makes bit 1 of the command word the fault reset bit.
