Ask a Question

Are Compact NSXm circuit breakers compliant to Electromagnetic disturbances.

Compact NSXm devices are protected against:
-> overvoltages caused by circuit switching.
-> overvoltages caused by an atmospheric disturbances or by a distribution-system outage (e.g. failure of a lighting system).
-> devices emitting radio waves (radios, walkie-talkies, radar, etc.)
-> electrostatic discharges produced directly by users.

Compact NSXm devices have successfully passed the electromagnetic-compatibility tests (EMC) defined by the international standards listed.
These tests ensure that:
-> no nuisance tripping occurs
-> tripping times are respected
