Sales and MarketingIn their words
How long have you been with Schneider Electric India?I joined the company in March 1997. It’s been a long journey of almost 12 years. You joined Schneider Electric as a Trainee and now are the Director Learning and Development. What has the journey been like? The journey has been very interesting. It’s been a true learning experience at all stages. Schneider Electric is a benchmark in terms of processes, especially marketing. I joined as a Techno-commercial Executive and then moved on to Product Marketing. Here in this role, I really understood about the market and customer behavior. Post this, I moved to Strategic Marketing, which again was a very interesting journey. It taught me to look at the bigger picture and think beyond a horizon of 1 year. During these 2 stints in Marketing, I realized that I really enjoy training and I really could contribute there. So, I moved to Training. We started SEITI (Schneider Electric India Training Institute) and now we are developing a Learning & Development setup for India. What would you say about growth opportunities in Schneider Electric?Immense…You have so many avenues, so many initiatives that you can definitely move, change and learn. What do you enjoy most about your job?Freedom to work, freedom to express and learn every day. With such an important position, are you able to give time to your family? The idea of spending time is not measuring the quantity of time but quality of time. I have 2 young children .Whatever time we are together we do things together, to be involved with each other and Schneider Electric allows me that space and opportunity. Any message for aspiring professionals on what they can expect at Schneider Electric? You will love it here!! More interviews
