Ask a Question

How can I recover projects in Vijeo XD?

The Vijeo XD automatically saves the project every 5 minutes and recovers it when the Vijeo XD closes abnormally. You can restart the Vijeo XD to recover the last project you worked on. The recovered project contains the changes you have made, or at least some of the work you have done since you last saved it.

NOTE: The program may close abnormally due to the following reasons:

  • Loss of power
  • System instability caused by another program
  • Detected error in Vijeo XD

Using the Recovery List

If the project closed abnormally, do the following to recover the last project you worked on:

  • Start the Vijeo XD.

→The Recovery List is opened by default. This list displays the recovered projects and the original projects with the date and time. The recently crashed project is displayed at the top of the list.

  1. In the Recovery List, click the desired project.

→The Saved Location dialog box is displayed.

  2. Click Yes.

→The project selected in the Recovery List is opened.

If the opened project is correct, then you can start working on it. Otherwise, click the Recovery List tab and check the other projects in the list.

NOTE:

  • Before working on the recovered project, make sure that you have saved the project to avoid further loss of data.
  • Once the recovered project is saved, it is removed from Recovery List.
  • You can get maximum of 50 recovery files in the Recovery List.
